OxyShield® OMB 1200 is a 0.47 mil (12 micron) biaxially oriented nylon 6 that has undergone Corona treatment on the outside of the reel while incorporating EVOH in the core layer. Featuring a high barrier to both oxygen and aromas, excellent toughness and puncture resistance under both high and low temperatures, high optical clarity, and exceptional flex crack resistance, OxyShield® OMB 1200 film is used for packaging applications that require high oxygen barrier (OTR <5 cc/m2 /24 hours), such as ‘doy pack’ for mayonnaises, and containers for seafood, dairy products, processed meats, and pastas.
